"Just got my latest Dexa score back. Have improved from osteoporosis in my AP spine to osteopenia- a 13% improvement! MY hips have improved 9. 2%, but I have lost 1. 8% in my femoral neck and left forearm, which is weird. I am ramping up more heavy weight exercise for my forearms, but don’t know how to improve the femoral neck scores. Overall, very happy with the improvement."

I had been experiencing a deep pain in my shins that mystified me until I had a bone scan taken and found that one of my T- Scores to be a minus 4. 6. Although I have not had a repeat scan, (my medical system only allows it once every 2 years) I have noted that the pain in my shins has demonstrably diminished. I am looking forward to a repeat scan and expect to report a significant improvement in my scores."

I found that most, if not all, over the counter calcium supplements are made from rock. I also found that pharmaceutical treatments were made with questionable ingredients. One product was using the embryos of Chinese hamsters. Ingredients I did not want to put into my body. A friend told me about a calcium product that was made from natural sea water algae. She had been using it for nearly two years and her Dexa had shown an increase in bone density. I called the Algaecal company and spoke with a Bone Health Consultant, asking her a lot of questions. She was patient and explained everything to me. Based on my friend's recommendation as well as the Consultant 's, I ordered my first Bone Builder Pak. I started using the Algaecal product on April 20, 2024. I have been taking the AlgaeCal regularly since that first purchase. I had my most recent Dexa Scan on April 16, 2026. My Dexa scan after the third year showed my status as "stable. " My doctor says I only have to re-scan every two years now. So, at age nearly 80, I am satisfied. I stay physically active and am also working on balance to reduce the risk of falling."
