Triple Power

"I have been taking Triple Power for many months. Sadly I do not experience any benefits. No improvement in joint or tendon pain, no different in energy levels, etc. it has been disappointing. I don’t know if Algae Cal has ever gotten any data on this specific product?? It also contains some sugar alcohols, which can’t be favorable. Most unfavorably algae cal product. I take them all."

Helpful for Reducing Inflammation

"I got some lab tests back today and my markers for inflammation were good. (Yay!) I have high cholesterol and really have to watch my fat intake and try to be "good" due to my LDL cholesterol leves. For me, it's worthwhile to include Triple Power in my (limited) fat intake as I work to improve my bone density."

Kitty B. (5/5)

Great Supplement

"The omega fish oil and the curcumin complex help not only with cholesterol but also aches that might otherwise keep one from exercising which is so important to building muscles for stronger bones."

Valerie F. (5/5)

Excellent product

"Excellent product"

Lisa M. (5/5)

The good and the bad

"I loved the flavor, but whatever the oil is (or the orange ingredient) DO NOT spill on any fabric of value. Ruined my shirt. My fault, but thought I’d share’"

Rebecca (4/5)

Wonderful product.

"Great taste! Good for my health."

Treehugger (5/5)

Fish oil

"After using this wonderful tasting fish oil for a short time I started to notice less discomfort in my knees and back where I have arthritis. Now it is almost completely pain free."

Shirley B. (5/5)

"Too early to tell if it’s having any effect, but it’s very slightly fishy tasting, even though the orange flavour is quite strong. I’ll definitely keep taking it though."

Lorraine (4/5)

Not for me

"The taste is very fishy for me. I will not be finishing the product."

Elizabeth B. (1/5)

Nutritious and Delicious!

"Triple Power Omega 3 Fish Oil is delicious and nutritious! I'm a fan of AlgaeCal products and enjoy the flavour but I find the bottle a bit cumbersome for travel and would consider an option without the flavouring - yes, I'm ok with the taste of fish oil. Hopefully, in the future, AlgaeCal will add to their line up a fish oil with a similar nutritional profile in capsules or a smaller option for travel. Either way, I'll continue to use the current option at home."

Q&A

If I already take algae cal plus is there a need to take the vitamin d3k2 as it already contains it?
Great question, Kat! It's possible that you may need an additional vitamin D3 & K2 on top of what's provided in AlgaeCal Plus. This is because vitamin D3 requirements vary greatly from person to person, and the optimal vitamin K2 intake depend on the amount of vitamin D you are taking. The best way to know how much vitamin D you need is to have a blood test done. You can learn more here: https://www.algaecal.com/algaecal-ingredients/vitamin-d/. For more information on vitamin K2, visit our website here: https://www.algaecal.com/algaecal-ingredients/vitamin-k2/. I hope this helps, Kat! Please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-820-0184 (USA & Canada, toll-free) or email support@algaecal.com with any follow-up questions! :) - Yoori
Does this have an oily consistency?
Thank you for your question, Carole! Triple Power Fish Oil has a smooth, syrup-like consistency—light and pourable, similar to a fruit syrup. Many people find the mango flavor quite pleasant, and it tends to go down easily! Just be sure to shake the bottle well before consuming. Feel free to give it a try, Carole! For your peace of mind, we are happy to refund any unopened and even partially used bottles within a year of the purchase date if you find that our Triple Power Fish Oil is not the best fit for you. :) - Yoori
I am concerned about taking algae omega 3 due to the 10% cholesterol it contains and am worried this will negatively add to my cholesterol level
Thank you for sharing your concern, Ursula! I want to reassure you that our Bone Health Expert, Lara Pizzorno, shared that the small amount of cholesterol in a serving of Triple Power (30 mg) is not a concern for several reasons. Cholesterol itself isn’t the issue—what contributes to health concern is "oxidized" cholesterol. Triple Power Fish Oil actively helps combat this by providing over 1,000 mg of omega-3 fats (EPA and DHA), along with curcumin and astaxanthin—all of which work together to protect cholesterol from oxidation! Of course, if you have any underlying concerns, please feel free to discuss with your doctor. Here: https://cdn.algaecal.com/wp-content/uploads/doctors-overview-tp.pdf is our Doctor Information Sheet for your convenience. I hope this helps! :) - Yoori
What’s the best way to travel with the fish oil? I don’t want to leave it behind!
Great question, Jenyan! If your hotel room has a small refrigerator, no worries—your Triple Power will be fine without refrigeration while you're en route. In fact, it can remain stable for a few days without being refrigerated. For convenience, you might consider transferring the amount you'll need into a smaller glass bottle and placing it inside a sealed Ziploc bag in your suitcase. If you're traveling by car, a small travel cooler with an ice pack or a Ziploc bag filled with ice can help keep your Triple Power cool. Safe travels! - Yoori
Is it okay to mix your collagen powder with hot liquids, such as coffee? Or does it diminish or destroy its benefits? Thank you.
Absolutely! You can mix collagen with your coffee or tea without any concerns about compromising its effectiveness. Collagen peptides are soluble in both hot and cold liquids, so they will dissolve easily in your beverage of choice. Experiment with different ways of incorporating collagen into your routine to find what works best for you. Consistency is key to experiencing the full benefits of collagen supplementation. Collagen Complete can safely be added to hot coffee, as brewing temperatures typically range from 90–96ºC (195–205ºF), well below the temperature threshold at which collagen proteins degrade. Our supplier conducted testing and confirmed that collagen peptides remain stable even at temperatures as high as 174ºC (345ºF). This ensures that you can mix collagen into hot drinks, soups, and stews without compromising its benefits. :) - Coral
